Zinc bisglycinate chelate (taste-free) is a mineral chelate in which one zinc ion is bound to two molecules of the amino acid glycine, processed as a grade with reduced metallic and bitter taste for use in flavour-sensitive products. Nustras supplies it as a powder, with micronised and direct-compression granular grades also available, made by our represented factory.
The taste-free grade is formulated into chewable and orally disintegrating tablets, gummies, oral sprays and drops, powdered drink mixes, ready-to-drink beverages and nutrition bars, where the standard chelate would affect flavour.
The material is a powder standardised to specification for zinc content, with identity confirmed by infrared spectroscopy or an equivalent method and zinc assay by complexometric titration or ICP; the glycine-to-zinc ratio is declared on the specification sheet. Heavy-metal and microbial limits are supplied to specification and confirmed on each lot's certificate of analysis.
Nustras supplies zinc bisglycinate chelate (taste-free) in bulk commercial quantities, in food-grade bags and fibre drums, to manufacturers and formulators internationally, with a certificate of analysis, specification sheet and country-of-origin documentation on every lot. Zinc bisglycinate is an accepted zinc source in major supplement and food markets; buyers confirm the elemental-zinc contribution and permitted level for their application.
