Zinc Alpha-Ketoglutarate (Zinc AKG)

Zinc alpha-ketoglutarate, or zinc AKG, is a mineral salt in which the essential trace mineral zinc is combined with alpha-ketoglutaric acid, an intermediate of the citric acid cycle. Nustras supplies it as a white to off-white powder for use as a zinc source in nutritional formulations.
