Potassium Pidolate

Potassium pidolate, also known as potassium pyroglutamate or potassium PCA, is the potassium salt of pidolic acid (L-pyroglutamic acid, the cyclic lactam of glutamic acid), supplied by Nustras as a powder and used as a source of the mineral potassium in supplements and as a humectant ingredient in cosmetics. Pidolic acid is a naturally occurring amino-acid derivative, and its potassium salt is highly soluble in water.
