Magnesium glycinate, also called magnesium bisglycinate, is a chelate in which one magnesium ion is bound to two molecules of the amino acid glycine. Nustras supplies it as a powder, in standard, micronised, coated, taste-free and directly compressible granular grades, as a magnesium source for dietary supplements and fortified foods.
It is formulated into magnesium tablets, capsules and softgels; into powders, stick packs and drink mixes; into gummies and chewables; into multi-mineral and combination products; and into fortified foods where regulations allow.
Magnesium glycinate is supplied as a white to off-white powder or granule (CAS 14783-68-7, molecular formula C4H8MgN2O4, molecular weight 172.42). Magnesium content, glycine content, chelation and loss on drying are standardised to specification; identity is confirmed by infrared spectroscopy and magnesium by complexometric titration. Heavy-metal and microbial limits are supplied to specification and confirmed on each lot's certificate of analysis.
Nustras supplies magnesium glycinate in bulk commercial quantities, in food-grade bags and fibre drums, to manufacturers and formulators internationally, with a certificate of analysis, specification sheet and country-of-origin documentation on every lot. Magnesium bisglycinate is a permitted magnesium source for supplements in major markets; buyers confirm the elemental-magnesium contribution, grade and permitted level for their application.
