Ferric Sodium Edetate

Ferric Sodium Edetate (also called Ferric Sodium EDTA) is a chelating agent where iron (ferric ion, Fe³⁺) is complexed with EDTA (ethylenediaminetetraacetic acid) in its sodium salt form. It is used primarily as a source of iron in pharmaceutical and nutritional supplements, and is also used in food fortification and sometimes in cosmetics and pharmaceuticals to bind metal ions and improve stability.
