Copper glycinate sulphate, also written copper glycine sulphate, is a copper amino-acid complex combining copper, the amino acid glycine and sulphate, supplied by Nustras as a mineral source for nutrition and fortification. The glycine complex improves copper handling and palatability compared with plain copper sulphate, making it a common choice in premixes.
It is used in animal-nutrition premixes and feeds, in human dietary supplements, and in fortified foods where a bioavailable, well-tolerated copper source is required. It is supplied as a powder for dry blending into premixes, tablets and feeds.
The material is a blue to blue-green powder consisting of a copper-glycine complex with sulphate. Copper content is supplied to grade, and because it is a defined complex rather than a single-CAS salt, the exact composition, elemental-copper assay and contaminant limits are confirmed on each lot's certificate of analysis. Feed and supplement grades are available.
Nustras supplies copper glycinate sulphate in bulk commercial quantities, in bags or fibre drums, to manufacturers and formulators internationally, with a certificate of analysis, specification sheet and country-of-origin documentation on every lot. Copper, as an amino-acid complex, is a permitted mineral source under the NNHPD mineral monographs and in supplement and feed markets; buyers confirm the elemental-copper contribution and upper limits for their application.
