Calcium Malate

Calcium malate is the calcium salt of malic acid, supplied by Nustras as a bioavailable calcium source for supplements and fortified foods. Because malic acid is an intermediate of the Krebs cycle, calcium malate pairs a well-absorbed calcium with an energy-metabolism-friendly carrier, and it is gentler on the stomach than calcium carbonate.
