Calcium Magnesium Bisglycinate Complex

Calcium Magnesium Bisglycinate Complex is a blend of two amino acid chelates, calcium bisglycinate and magnesium bisglycinate, supplied by Nustras as a white powder and used as a combined organic source of the two minerals. In each bisglycinate the mineral ion is bound to two molecules of the amino acid glycine, giving a form that is neutral in taste.

It is formulated into calcium-magnesium and multi-mineral tablets, capsules and powders, effervescent products, gummies, fortified beverages and functional foods and mineral premixes.

The material is a white to off-white powder. Calcium and magnesium contents are standardised to specification and assayed by complexometric titration or ICP spectroscopy; chelation is confirmed by infrared spectroscopy and the glycine ligand by HPLC.
