Myo-Inositol

Myo-inositol is a carbocyclic sugar alcohol (cyclohexane-1,2,3,4,5,6-hexol), the most abundant of the nine stereoisomers of inositol and sometimes referred to as vitamin B8, supplied by Nustras as a white crystalline powder for use as a nutritional ingredient. It occurs naturally in cereals, legumes, citrus fruit and animal tissues and is a structural component of the phosphatidylinositol phospholipids of cell membranes.
