Microcrystalline Cellulose (MCC) is a purified, partially depolymerized cellulose obtained from plant sources like wood pulp, processed mechanically and chemically into a fine, white, odorless, tasteless crystalline powder. It is used as a binder and filler in tablets and capsules, and as a stabilizer, bulking agent, and texturizer in food. MCC can improve flowability, compressibility, and consistency in powder-based formulations.
