D-Mannose

D-Mannose is a naturally occurring simple sugar (a monosaccharide) related to glucose. It is commonly used as a dietary supplement to support urinary tract health by inhibiting the adhesion of certain bacteria (like E. coli) to the walls of the urinary tract. It is found naturally in some fruits like cranberries, apples, and peaches.
