Menthyl Ionone Gamma (also written as γ-Menthyl ionone) is a synthetic fragrance ingredient from the ionone family, structurally related to terpenes and irones. It is commonly used in perfumes for floral, violet-like and slightly minty notes, as well as in cosmetics and personal care products, and less commonly in flavors.
