3,3'-Diindolylmethane (DIM) is an indole compound formed from indole-3-carbinol, a substance that occurs naturally in cruciferous vegetables such as broccoli and cabbage, supplied by Nustras as a white or off-white crystalline powder for the dietary-supplement sector. Chemically it consists of two indole rings joined by a methylene bridge; the commercial ingredient is produced synthetically to a defined purity.
It is formulated into capsules, tablets and softgels in the specialty supplement category, often together with cruciferous-vegetable extracts or in combination formulas, and into powdered blends where a defined, standardised indole ingredient is required.
The material is a white or off-white crystalline powder with CAS number 1968-05-4, molecular formula C17H14N2 and molecular weight 246.31. Purity is standardised to specification and determined by HPLC against a reference standard, to USP monograph requirements; heavy-metal and microbial limits are supplied to specification and confirmed on each lot's certificate of analysis.
Nustras supplies 3,3'-diindolylmethane in bulk commercial quantities, in fibre drums with sealed inner liners, to manufacturers and formulators internationally, with a certificate of analysis, specification sheet and country-of-origin documentation (China) on every lot. DIM is an accepted supplement ingredient in major markets; buyers confirm the permitted level and claim for their application. Contact us for grade, pricing per kilogram and lead time.
