Wheat grass is the young green leaf of common wheat, Triticum aestivum L., harvested before the stem and grain form, and supplied by Nustras as an organically grown dried leaf powder. At this stage the leaf is rich in chlorophyll and carries the vitamins, minerals and fibre of a green cereal grass rather than the starch of the grain.
