Horsetail

Horsetail (Equisetum arvense, field horsetail) is a perennial, spore-bearing plant of the Equisetaceae family of the temperate northern hemisphere. The herb is notable for its high content of silica (silicic acid) and contains flavonoids such as isoquercitrin.
