Ginger is the rhizome of Zingiber officinale, supplied by Nustras as a root powder, standardised extract and essential oil for digestive-, nausea- and functional formulations. Its characteristic actives are the gingerols and shogaols, to which premium ginger extracts are standardised, and it is one of the most widely used botanicals in food and supplements.
Ginger is formulated into digestive-health, nausea- and motion-comfort and anti-inflammatory supplements, functional foods and beverages, and flavour and seasoning systems, in capsules, tablets, powders, liquids and oils.
The material is supplied from the Zingiber officinale rhizome as a tan powder, a standardised extract (to gingerols), or a ginger essential oil. Identity and marker assay are by HPLC/GC; heavy-metal, pesticide and microbial limits are supplied to specification and confirmed on each lot's certificate of analysis.
Nustras supplies ginger in bulk commercial quantities, in food-grade packaging, to manufacturers and formulators internationally, with a certificate of analysis, specification sheet and country-of-origin documentation on every lot. Ginger is an accepted food and botanical ingredient in major markets; buyers confirm the form, standardisation and claim for their product.
