Gentian

Gentian is a traditional bitter botanical from the root of Gentiana lutea, supplied by Nustras as a cut-and-sifted botanical and as a powder or extract. One of the most intensely bitter herbs, its characteristic constituents are the secoiridoid bitters such as gentiopicroside, and it has a long history of use in digestive bitters and traditional herbal practice.
