Garlic

Garlic (Allium sativum) is a bulb vegetable of the onion family, used as both a food and a botanical ingredient. The bulb contains characteristic sulphur compounds, including alliin and its derivative allicin, which give garlic its pungent odour.

The material is a cream to pale yellow powder with the characteristic garlic odour. Loss on drying, heavy-metal, pesticide and microbial limits are supplied to specification and confirmed on each lot's certificate of analysis.
