Evodia

Evodia is a traditional botanical from the fruit of Evodia rutaecarpa (Tetradium ruticarpum), supplied by Nustras as a standardised extract. Its characteristic active is the alkaloid evodiamine, to which premium evodia extracts are standardised, and it has a long history of use in Traditional Chinese Medicine; it is also used in modern thermogenic and metabolic formulations.

Evodia extract is formulated into thermogenic, weight-management and sports-nutrition supplements, and traditional-herbal and functional products, in capsules, tablets and powders.

The material is a brown fruit extract standardised to its evodiamine content to order (common grades at 10% or higher evodiamine).
