Eurycoma Longjack

Eurycoma longjack (Eurycoma longifolia Jack, tongkat ali) is a slender tree of the Simaroubaceae family native to Southeast Asia, whose root is a long-established botanical raw material. Nustras supplies Eurycoma longifolia as a 100:1 root extract powder for the supplement and sports-nutrition sector. The root contains quassinoids, notably eurycomanone, together with alkaloids and other bitter principles.

It is formulated into botanical and sports-nutrition supplements in capsule, tablet and powder form, into men's-formula and pre-workout blends, and into functional beverages, coffee-style drink mixes and powdered drink products where a concentrated root extract is required.

The material is a brown-yellow fine powder. The extract ratio of 100:1 is standardised to specification, with loss on drying, ash, particle size and solubility also controlled; identity is confirmed by botanical identification of the source root and HPLC or TLC fingerprint of the extract, and heavy-metal, pesticide-residue and microbial limits are supplied to specification and confirmed on each lot's certificate of analysis.

Nustras supplies Eurycoma longifolia root extract in bulk commercial quantities, in food-grade bags and fibre drums, to manufacturers and formulators internationally, with a certificate of analysis, specification sheet and country-of-origin documentation on every lot. Eurycoma longifolia is an accepted botanical ingredient in major supplement markets; buyers confirm the permitted plant part, extract ratio, level and claim for their application.
