Cranberry

Cranberry is the fruit of Vaccinium macrocarpon, supplied by Nustras as a fruit powder and as a standardised extract for urinary-health and functional formulations. Its characteristic actives are the proanthocyanidins (PACs), particularly A-type PACs, to which premium cranberry extracts are standardised.

Cranberry powder and extract are formulated into urinary-tract-health and women's-health supplements, antioxidant and functional-food products, juices and beverages, and gummies, in capsules, tablets and powders.

The material is supplied as a red fruit powder or as an extract standardised to its PAC content to order (commonly expressed as a percentage of proanthocyanidins by the DMAC method). Identity, PAC assay, moisture, heavy-metal and microbial limits are supplied to specification and confirmed on each lot's certificate of analysis.
