Coprinus Comatus / Shaggy mane (Fungus)

Shaggy mane, Coprinus comatus, is an edible mushroom of the family Agaricaceae, recognised by its tall white cylindrical cap that darkens and liquefies with age; its fruiting body contains polysaccharides including beta-glucans, together with protein and minerals.
