Cauliflower is the edible flower head of Brassica oleracea var. botrytis, a cultivated member of the mustard family grown worldwide as a vegetable. Nustras supplies it as a dried vegetable powder, made by blanching, drying and milling the white curd, and as a concentrated extract powder. Like other brassicas it contains glucosinolates, including glucoraphanin, together with dietary fibre, choline, vitamins and minerals.
Cauliflower powder is formulated into vegetable and greens blends, botanical supplements in capsule and tablet form, functional foods, soups, sauces and seasonings, and plant-based and low-carbohydrate food products as a bulking and flavouring ingredient.
Supplied as an off-white to pale cream powder with a mild, characteristic cooked-vegetable odour and taste. Botanical identity is confirmed by macroscopic examination of the raw material and HPLC or thin-layer fingerprint of the powder; particle size, moisture and ash are standardised to specification. Heavy-metal, pesticide and microbial limits are supplied to specification and confirmed on each lot's certificate of analysis.
Nustras supplies cauliflower in bulk commercial quantities, in food-grade bags and fibre drums, to manufacturers and formulators internationally, with a certificate of analysis, specification sheet and country-of-origin documentation on every lot. Cauliflower is an accepted food and supplement ingredient in major markets; buyers confirm the preparation and permitted claim for their application.
