Black pepper is the dried fruit of Piper nigrum L., a climbing vine of the Piperaceae family cultivated across tropical Asia. Its pungent principle is the alkaloid piperine. Nustras supplies black pepper extract as a fine light yellow powder standardised to piperine by HPLC, for dietary supplement manufacturing.
Black pepper extract is formulated into dietary supplements in capsule, tablet and powder form, commonly as a minor component of multi-ingredient botanical and nutrient formulations, and into flavour and seasoning applications as a concentrated pepper note.
Appearance: fine light yellow powder. The extract is standardised to a minimum piperine content per specification and assayed by HPLC; identity is confirmed by HPLC retention time against a piperine reference standard. Residual solvents, loss on drying, heavy-metal and microbial limits are supplied to specification and confirmed on each lot's certificate of analysis.
Nustras supplies black pepper extract in bulk commercial quantities, in sealed packaging and fibre drums, to manufacturers and formulators internationally, with a certificate of analysis, specification sheet and country-of-origin documentation on every lot; material of Chinese origin is currently offered. Piperine-standardised black pepper extract is an accepted supplement ingredient in major markets, with maximum piperine levels that differ by jurisdiction; buyers confirm the regulatory status, permitted level and claim for their application.
