Bitter Orange

Bitter orange is derived from the fruit of Citrus aurantium, supplied by Nustras as a fruit extract standardised to synephrine for weight-management and sports-nutrition formulations. Its characteristic active, p-synephrine, is a naturally occurring protoalkaloid to which premium bitter-orange extracts are standardised.

Bitter orange extract is formulated into thermogenic, weight-management and pre-workout supplements, and energy and metabolic-support products, in capsules, tablets and powders.

The material is supplied as a tan to brown powder from Citrus aurantium, standardised to its synephrine content to order (common grades at 6%, 10%, 30% or higher synephrine). Identity and synephrine assay are by HPLC; heavy-metal, pesticide and microbial limits are supplied to specification and confirmed on each lot's certificate of analysis.
