Bamboo Extract

Bamboo extract is derived from the stems and leaves of bamboo (Bambusa and related species), supplied by Nustras as a standardised extract and one of the richest natural sources of plant silica. Standardised to its silica content, it is widely used as a natural silica source in beauty, bone- and connective-tissue support products.

Bamboo extract is formulated into hair, skin and nail (beauty-from-within) supplements, bone- and joint-support products, and natural silica fortification in capsules, tablets, gummies and powders.

The material is supplied as an off-white to light-tan powder standardised to its silica (silicon dioxide) content to order, commonly at 70% or 75% silica.
