Bacopa monnieri is a creeping perennial herb of wetlands across India and Southeast Asia, known in Ayurvedic practice as Brahmi. Its characteristic constituents are triterpenoid saponins called bacosides, which serve as the marker compounds for standardised extracts. Nustras supplies Bacopa monnieri as a whole-herb extract powder standardised to bacosides for dietary supplement manufacturing.
Bacopa extract is formulated into herbal dietary supplements in capsule, tablet and powder form, into Ayurvedic-tradition blends, and into blended botanical formulations where a standardised saponin-bearing herbal extract is required.
The extract is standardised to a minimum bacoside content per specification, assayed by HPLC or UV spectrophotometry; identity is confirmed by thin-layer chromatography against a bacoside reference. Appearance, loss on drying, residual solvents, heavy-metal and microbial limits are supplied to specification and confirmed on each lot's certificate of analysis.
Nustras supplies Bacopa monnieri extract in bulk commercial quantities, in sealed packaging and fibre drums, to manufacturers and formulators internationally, with a certificate of analysis, specification sheet and country-of-origin documentation on every lot. Bacopa monnieri is an accepted herbal supplement ingredient in major markets; buyers confirm the regulatory status, permitted level and claim for their application.
