Artichoke

Artichoke is a botanical derived from the leaf of Cynara scolymus (globe artichoke), supplied by Nustras as a leaf powder and as a standardised extract for liver-, digestive- and metabolic-support formulations. Its characteristic actives are cynarin and chlorogenic acid, to which premium artichoke extracts are standardised.

Artichoke leaf extract is formulated into liver- and digestive-health supplements, cholesterol- and metabolic-support products, and detox and bitters blends, in capsules, tablets and powders.

The material is a green to brown leaf powder or extract standardised to its cynarin or chlorogenic-acid content to order (common grades at 2.5% or 5% cynarin). Identity and marker assay are by HPLC; heavy-metal, pesticide and microbial limits are supplied to specification and confirmed on each lot's certificate of analysis.
