Artemisia Annua

Artemisia annua, known as sweet wormwood or qinghao, is a traditional botanical from the aerial parts of Artemisia annua, supplied by Nustras as a powder and as a standardised extract. It is best known as the natural source of artemisinin, and its extracts are standardised to artemisinin content; it has a long history of use in Traditional Chinese Medicine.

The material is a green to brown aerial-parts powder or extract standardised to its artemisinin content to order. Identity and artemisinin assay are by HPLC; heavy-metal, pesticide and microbial limits are supplied to specification and confirmed on each lot's certificate of analysis.
