L-Lysine

L-Lysine is an essential amino acid, one of the building blocks of protein that must be obtained from the diet, supplied by Nustras in free-base form as a powder suitable for vegan formulations and used as an amino-acid ingredient for supplements, foods and feed. The free base contains a higher proportion of lysine by weight than the hydrochloride salt and is more alkaline in solution.
