L-Lysine L-Glutamate

L-Lysine L-glutamate is a salt formed between two amino acids, the basic amino acid L-lysine and the acidic amino acid L-glutamic acid, in a one-to-one ratio, supplied by Nustras as a white crystalline powder in a vegan (fermentation-derived) grade and used as a combined amino acid ingredient in nutritional formulations. Pairing the two as a single salt gives a neutral, stable, water-soluble material that delivers both without the hydrochloride counter-ion of lysine HCl.
