L-Citrulline DL-Malate

L-Citrulline DL-malate is a salt of the amino acid L-citrulline and DL-malic acid in a one-to-one molar ratio, supplied by Nustras as a powder suitable for vegan formulations and used as an ingredient for sports nutrition and dietary supplements. L-Citrulline is a non-protein amino acid first isolated from watermelon and an intermediate of the urea cycle; malic acid is a dicarboxylic acid found in many fruits.
