D-Aspartic Acid (DAA) is an amino acid involved in protein synthesis and acts as a neurotransmitter in the nervous system. It is the D-isomer of aspartic acid (the L-form is more common in proteins) and is involved in hormone regulation, including stimulating the release of hormones such as testosterone and luteinizing hormone (LH).
